We are pleased to announce Bhutan's  first Hotel Middle Management program in connection with the Tourism Council of Bhutan (formerly DOT)

• the courses are held in Thimphu at the RIM Institute
• these are the course dates
• July and August 2008,
• January and February 2009,
• July and August of 2009 and the final one
• January and February 2010. A total of 8 month
• successful Students that complete all 8 month with passing grades will be awarded a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Swiss University HWZ in Zuerich and a parallel Certificate from RIM
• the courses have been sponsored by 2 Swiss Foundations, the Jacobs and the Elysium Foundation. Students selected will be sponsored by these foundations to attend the courses at no cost to them
• 30 Students have been selected from the whole Country
• The Professors and Teachers are all coming from various countries and will share their specific, specialized knowledge in their field with the students. On a weekly basis a English classes on two different levels and hotel related IT classes  will be part of the program.
• Professors from RIM and DOT will be offered an opportunity to work along with the foreign Professors, with the aim to have future courses taught by them.

We believe that a real need is taken care off by offering these courses, mainly due to the rapid expansion rate of hotels in Bhutan.
